Tennis: Jones wins in US

New Zealand tennis player Sacha Jones has made the quarter-finals of an international tournament in the United States. Jones, playing at the US$50,000 ($68,400) hard court tournament in Phoenix, Arizona beat American fourth seed Shenay Perry 6-2 6-2 in the second round. Jones will next play either Russian qualifier Natalia Ryzhonkova, or Frederica Piedade from Portugal.
