A viral illness robbed New Zealand's Marina Erakovic of a chance of victory in the final of a US$25,000 tournament in Spain.
Erakovic, 18, and the second seed, was hospitalised on a drip, handing the title in Vigo to fourth seed Olivia Sanchez of France by a
walkover.
