Tennis: Fed express through to Toronto final

Roger Federer has staved off a superb fight back from world number two Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Toronto Masters.

Federer made it through to the final in three sets.

The former world number one looked set to make short work of Djokovic after romping to a 6-1 victory in the opening set, but the Serb fought back to take the second 6-3.

The two players then traded breaks in the deciding third set and looked headed for a tie breaker, until a sensational break by Federer sealed a 6-1 3-6 7-5 victory.

Federer will play Andy Murray in the final, after the Scot downed world number one Rafael Nadal in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in the earlier match.
