Tennis: Erakovic on rankings rise

Rising tennis talent Marina Erakovic is up to world No 459 - and will make another jump next week on the Women's Tennis Association singles rankings.

The 17-year-old Aucklander rose from No 613 with her victory at Warnambool, Victoria, three weeks ago.

When the points for her win at Yarrawonga in the final leg of the Victorian grasscourt circuit are logged into the rankings system, she is likely to move to about No 420.
