New Zealand's Marina Erakovic has failed to qualify for the WTA tennis tournament in Bastad, Sweden.
Erakovic has lost her final round qualifying match 6-1, 6-3 to Czech Jana Cepelova.
The Kiwi number one has shown much improved form in the middle part of the year.
Meanwhile Artem Sitak and
his American partner Nicholas Monroe are through to the second round of the doubles at the Umag ATP tournament in Croatia.
The second seeds have beaten a Croatian wildcard pairing 6-2, 6-1.
