Tennis: Erakovic climbs up world rankings

New Zealand's Marina Erakovic had a double dose of good news on the women's world tennis rankings front this week.

The 17-year-old Aucklander is up to No 421 on senior rankings and is also up to No 5 on the ITF junior rankings, her highest career placing.

New Zealand's leading male player is Mark Nielsen, whose ranking has risen to No 524. The only other New Zealander inside the top 1000 is Adam Thompson, at 777.
