Player reveals she's four and half months pregnant after Wimbledon exit

Luxembourg tennis player Mandy Minella has revealed she is pregnant after being handed a first round exit in the first round at Wimbledon.

The 31-year-old and world number 82 told journalists she is expecting her first child after losing 6-1, 6-1 to Italian Francesca Schiavone.

Minella posted a photo on Twitter of her partner kissing her stomach.

According to reports she is four and a half months pregnant. She will also compete in the doubles tournament at Wimbledon.

Minella said, according to the Luxemburger Wort newspaper: "Wimbledon is my last tournament this season. I want to compete again at Wimbledon in 2018 - and bring the baby buggy."
