Kiwi doubles players battle to advance at Wimbledon

Kiwi tennis players Michael Venus and Artem Sitak have both battled for five sets to win their first round doubles matches at Wimbledon.

French Open champion Mike Venus and American partner Ryan Harrison have come from two sets to one down to beat German pair Jan-Lennard Struff and Andre Begemann 6-3, 1-6, 4-6, 6-3, 9-7.

Sitak and American partner Nicholas Monroe have fought back from two sets to love down to beat Andre Sa and Dudi Sela 3-6, 3-6, 7-5, 7-6, 6-3.
