As the resurgent Spaniard won his way into the tournament semi-finals with a win over Canadian Milos Raonic, Nadal was apparently keeping time with a $1.2
million Richard Mille design.
Mile has sponsored Nadal since 2010 and the 14-time Grand Slam champion has worn several exclusive designs over the years.
This RM 27-02 is the latest, and obviously presents no encumberance to serving aces and smashing winners. Yes, we know he's left-handed and wears the watch on his right wrist, but there is the whole balance thing to consider.
In 2012, Nadal reportedly had a $476,000 Mille watch stolen while on loan from the designer.
