Tennis: Leanne Baker takes doubles title with Malhotra

New Zealand's Leanne Baker teamed up with India's Manisha Malhotra to win the doubles title at a $US50,000 ($NZ121,862) tennis tournament in Marseille, France, yesterday.

The pair upset the first and fourth-seeded pairings on the way to the final, where they beat third seeds Caroline Dhenin of France and Maja Palaversic of Croatia, 7-6 6-2.

It was the pair's second tournament win, and it should see Baker's world doubles ranking climb inside the top 200.
