New Zealand have made the quarter-finals of the teams event at the world junior men's squash championships in Ecuador. The 11th seeds beat Venezuela 3-0 in the round of 16.

Bryce Redman beat Wildredo Arcia in straight games; Paul Coll downed Venezuela's No 1 Daniel Prato, while Lance Beddoes won the dead rubber 11-8, 11-1.

New Zealand play third seeds England in the last eight.
