Squash: Joyce loses World final

Australian Carol Owens is the new world squash champion after staging a magnificent fightback against New Zealand's Leilani Joyce in the final this morning.

Owens looked to be heading for a comprehensive defeat at the hands of the world number one after losing the first two games and trailing 7-1 in the third.

However, the world number two clawed her way back to snatch the game 10-8, followed by the fourth 9-6 before strolling to victory in the deciding fifth game 9-1.
