New Zealand international striker Chris Wood has extended his loan spell at Birmingham City following a red hot goal scoring streak with the Championship club.
Wood will stay with the Blues until January 5 after his youth loan from West Bromwich Albion was extended.
With seven league goals, and one Europa League goal, in 11 appearances for Birmingham, Wood is the third highest scorer in the Championship.
An undisclosed fee has been paid to West Brom to land the 19-year-old's services until the New Year.
"I'm very pleased the loan has been extended. I've settled in really well here and all of the lads - who are a great bunch - have really taken to me," the Kiwi told the club's website.
"We are beginning to gel as a team and as a squad and I think that's starting to show in our performances and results.
"I'm very pleased to have scored the goals that I have but it's only the start. Together we have to keep putting in the performances and picking up the results to move up the league."
Blues manager Chris Hughton said he is delighted Wood is staying amongst the ranks.
"Hopefully Chris can continue in the same vein as he has done so far."
