Skiing: Lynden, Kuzma win Freeski

Auckland's Alex Lynden and Janina Kuzma of Wanaka triumphed in the New Zealand Freeski Open at Treble Cone, near Wanaka yesterday.

It was Lynden's first win in the North Face Big Mountain event, but Kuzma has now won the women's crown six successive times.

The event is a qualifying competition for the Freeride World Tour.
