Yachting: Alinghi to train in Dubai

America's Cup defenders Alinghi will train in Dubai during the European winter.

The Swiss team plan to relocate 60 members of their 132-strong team to Dubai from mid-November until the end of February because the conditions will be similar to the Valencia summer.

Alinghi managing director Grant Simmer said the move wasn't planned and would add around 2 or 3 per cent to Alinghi's overall budget of slightly more than €100 million ($195 million).
