Day 3 of the America's Cup match revealed that Team Oracle USA has improved their upwind speed in the 11-12 knot range to be close to Emirates Team New Zealand.
However, tomorrow the forecast is for lighter winds, perhaps even marginal foiling inthe 6-8 knot range.
This will be a big test for the teams.
Emirates Team NZ has shown an ability to fly earlier and to stay on their foils through tacks at lighter wind speeds than any other team. Can Team Oracle USA match this ability?
Certainly the work they have done in lightening their boat and increasing the area of their foils will help, but will they have the full light air package Emirates Team New Zealand have?
