British gain point from struggling Italians

GBR Challenge were too strong for Mascalzone Latino in this morning's racing for the Louis Vuitton Cup.

GBR led the Latin Rascals around the first mark by 22s before extending their lead downwind to 27s.

GBR never looked in danger of losing their lead and went on to win comfortably.

Mascalzone was sailing without helmsman Paolo Cian who this morning told his teammates he was too stressed after yesterday's loss to fellow Italians Prada. His future with the team remains unclear.
