Blog: Valencia overrun with Kiwis

You have to see it to believe it but all of a sudden Valencia seems to be overridden with Kiwis.

It is truly amazing.

While there have always been a few around, all of a sudden truckloads appear to have arrived. They are very easy to spot their Team New Zealand shirts, red socks and New Zealand flags give it away.

Team New Zealand are now 2-0 up over Luna Rossa and are in a very comfortable position.

In today's race NZL92 looked like it had a click of speed over Luna Rossa.

Again the New Zealanders sailed very well. The race was won in the prestart. Luna Rossa were slow over the line and then had to tack which allowed the Kiwis to sail out to a comfortable lead.

From there it was game over.

Race three is tonight and then a lay day tomorrow.
