Antarctica Cup entry

An NZ syndicate have registered for the Antarctica Cup yacht race to be held in February 2005.

The team will take up the exclusive country franchise owner rights allocated to New Zealand for the race.

Australia is the only other country so far to have entered in the 14,600 nautical mile non-stop event, which starts and finishes in Auckland.
