America's Cup: What to expect tomorrow

The PredictWind forecast for the America's Cup course area for 5 June (Tuesday 6 June NZ time) is more positive and looks good for racing. However, the wind direction predicted is from the north-east and this is a less stable wind direction. The variation in the PredictWind models reflect this and are as follows for start time of the first race of the semi-final playoffs on the Great Sound:

PWG: 7-11 knots
PWE: 12-16 knots
GFS: 11-14 knots
ECMWF: 14-19 knots

This is in the range where Team BAR was competitive during the qualifier series. In addition, the instability and variation of the wind direction and speed will provide opportunities for the teams that get their positioning right.
