Veteran Wallabies stay home

Veteran Wallabies prop Bill Young and centre Stirling Mortlock are to be rested from the four-test rugby tour to France and the UK in November.

The duo will remain behind to work on an extensive strength and conditioning programme.

Their absence gives coach Eddie Jones a chance to continue trying new talent after the Tri-Nations series exposed problems, particularly in the scrum.
