Liam Messam was the top tackler in the match with 16, but it wasn't a stellar night for the Chiefs with 30 missed tackles which was eight more than the Hurricanes missed. Bundee Aki missed the most tackles with five, followed by Tim Nanai-Williams with four.
Two of the Hurricanes' tries came from multiple phases, TJ Perenara's try was 17 phases over almost two minutes while Beauden Barrett's try came from 13 phases straight from a restart of play.
The Chiefs made nine handling errors, all knock-ons, while the Hurricanes made seven (six knock-ons and one intercepted pass).
The Chiefs had the edge at the breakdown winning five tackle turnovers to one, although the Hurricanes did manage to put in greater numbers at times and counter-rucked the Chiefs twice.
Aaron Cruden made the most offloads with three, and landed six from eight attempts at goal.
HIGHLANDERS v CRUSADERS (12-40)
Hosea Gear celebrated his 100th Super appearance with a try - his sixth of the season for the Highlanders, and his 37th Super try overall. He is currently sixth equal for most tries this season.
The Crusaders made nine linebreaks in this game and scored tries from three of them. Top linebreakers for the Crusaders wre Dan Carter and Telusa Veainu with two each.
Elliot Dixon was the top tackler in the game with 17, but the Highlanders made only 60 percent of their tackles. Tamati Ellison missed the most with six, while Shaun Treeby and Kade Poki both missed four.
Ma'a Nonu received the first red card of the 2013 Super 15 season for his tip-tackle on Crusaders' winger Tom Marshall. Jarrad Hoeata's sin binning in the first half took the Highlanders' total of yellow cards to nine this season.
Cory Flynn got just the second yellow card of the season for the Crusaders, but in coming off the bench in the second half became the most capped Crusader of all time in his 130th appearance.
Both teams conceded 10 penalties in this match, but half of the Highlanders' penalties were conceded in their own 22. The Crusaders did not concede any penalties in their 22.
As well as scoring a try, Carter was 100 percent with the boot converting all four of the Crusaders' tries and landing four penalty goals. He becomes the fourth New Zealand player this season to score 100 points, and is currently on 108.
SHARKS v BLUES (22-20)
The Sharks have now won 13 games against the Blues, and that 76 percent winning ratio is their best against any New Zealand side.
The Blues were possibly lucky to get a losing bonus point from this game because Patrick Lambie had a nightmare with the boot landing just three out of eight attempts at goal, having gone into this match with an 82 percent kicking success rate for the season.
Discipline cost the Blues with 13 penalties conceded, nine of them in the first half alone. Ali Williams and Angus Ta'avao were the most penalised with three each. The Sharks conceded just five penalties in total.
Anthony Boric was the top tackler in this game with 21, while Marcel Coetzee was the Sharks' top tackler with 16.
The Blues did win the battle of the breakdown winning four turnovers to none, and also successfully defended a Sharks' maul.
The Sharks won all 17 of their lineout throws, with the Blues only contesting seven of them. The Blues had just eight lineouts and won seven of them.
The Blues made 13 off-loads to seven in this game, Luke Braid was their top off-loader with four.
Frank Halai is now the top try scorer in the competition, his brace in this game lifting his season tally to 10.
