Richie McCaw has been ruled out of the Crusaders' Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes on Saturday.
Despite his concussion symptoms improving in the last 24 hours, the All Blacks captain has been forced to sit out by Crusaders medical staff.
Team doctor Deb Robinson says they're following their graduated
set of protocols.
She says if he's not fit to start the process on Monday, that means his first contact training will be Friday which is too late.
Dr Robinson says McCaw had a mild headache yesterday morning but was feeling fine later on that evening.
