Rugby: Henry at Blues training - but it's not what it seems

Former All Blacks coach Graham Henry was at Blues training yesterday but not because of an SOS from under-pressure coach John Kirwan.

Henry, who took the All Blacks to World Cup glory in 2011 and was an assistant coach with Kirwan at the Blues for the last two seasons before ending his involvement at the end of 2014, was at training at the franchise's Unitec base to record an interview with French media company Canal+.

Canal+ is shooting a documentary on New Zealand rugby.

Henry, who as wearing a Blues cap, later watched the team go through their paces as they prepared for tomorrow night's match against the Waratahs in Sydney. The Blues have lost all of their five matches this season.
