Rugby: Force target Nonu, Jane

Force coach Richard Graham has confirmed All Blacks backs Ma'a Nonu and Cory Jane are two of the players in the mix to become the franchise's marquee recruit next Super Rugby season.

The Force need to plug several holes in their backline following the loss of Wallabies utility back James O'Connor and winger David Smith.

Nonu is without a team after being let go by the Hurricanes, while Jane is coming off contract.

Graham says everyone is interested in Nonu and Jane and they'll spend some time this week assessing both players and speaking to them if they think it's appropriate.
