Prop Toby Smith will make his first start for the Chiefs in a Super 14 rugby match against the Stormers in Hamilton on Friday night.
The 21-year-old, who has made three appearances off the reserves bench this season, was today named in the starting 15 in place of the injuredSona Taumalolo.
Experienced prop Nathan White returns from a back strain to be named on the bench.
