Rugby: Enraged fan breaks into Blues' coaching box

Blues rugby coach Pat Lam is looking for better security at North Harbour Stadium after a brush with an irate fan last night.

The Blues' coaching box was gate-crashed by the supporter during 24-31 loss to the Reds.

Pat Lam says it is not something he has ever encountered as a coach before.

He says it was a pointless protest by the man, who wanted his money back.

Lam was escorted from the stadium by security personnel.
