England number eight James Haskell will play Super 15 next year.
In a surprise move, he's been signed by the Highlanders after a deal looked to be unlikely a few days ago.
Haskell is currently playing in Japan, will move to Otago in February and then link up with Waspsin England.
Also included in the Highlanders side are All Blacks Andrew Hore and Hosea Gear, who move south from the Hurricanes, while Tamati Ellison returns from playing in Japan.
