Chiefs No 8 Kane Thompson is heading back to New Zealand with a neck injury that coach Dave Rennie believes will benefit from a few weeks break.
Thompson, who sustained the injury in the Chiefs' 20-12 win over the Western Force, will be replaced in the squad by Fritz Lee
