Crusaders second five-eighth Tim Bateman has overcome an injury and been cleared to start tomorrow's Super 14 rugby match against the Stormers in Christchurch.
Bateman had been bracketed with Ryan Crotty because of a knee strain. Crotty will be on the reserve bench.
