Nonu cited for dangerous tackle

Hurricanes centre Ma'a Nonu has been cited for making a dangerous tackle during his team's Super 14 rugby loss to the Stormers in Cape Town yesterday.

The All Blacks midfield back will appear at a judicial hearing tomorrow (NZT).

The incident arose in the 71st minute of the match, which the Stormers won 37-13, when Nonu was alleged to have tackled Stormers first five-eighth Peter Grant above shoulder level.
