Patrick Lambie continues to lead all scorers but had his worst round of the season scoring 18 Fantasy points as the Sharks struggled against the Brumbies losing 29-10.
Lambie has 96 points through four matches with Chiefs flanker Sam Cane hot on his heels after another strong performance by the All Black. Cane scored 24 Fantasy points in the Chiefs' 35-24 win over the Kings, his fourth straight 20+ round taking his season tally to 94 points. Teammate Leila Masaga produced the top score of the round with 33 points following a hattrick of tries.
Cheetahs winger Robert Ebersohn also broke 30 points for Cheetahs in their 27-26 win over Waratahs, the second straight week he's done so. In-form teammate Pieter Labuschagne scored 27 to continue his strong start to season and at $2m cheaper than Cane remains the Fantasy bargain.
The Crusaders scored six tries in their 41-19 thrashing of the Bulls with the home side sharing around the points. Tom Marshall led the Crusaders with 28 points however Bulls backrower Deon Stegmann was scorer with 29 for the losing side.
All Black prop Ben Franks scored the value of a good prop in Fantasy by leading all scorers in the Hurricanes' victory over the Highlanders on Friday. Franks finished with 26 points while five Highlanders scored in the negatives. TJ Perenara (16) won the halfback battle over Aaron Smith (-1).
Reds backrower Ed Quirk took a backwards step last weekend as did most of his teammate's in their 19-12 defeat to the Force. After starting the season well Quirk scored single digits for the second straight week, as did popular choice Liam Gill who scored just three points.
