The All Blacks number 10 sunk an ace at the Steyn City Golf Course, outside of Johannesburg, according to his Twitter account.
"A recovery day well spent. Despite being 5 holes downin match play I managed to win this one! Par 3 12th 183m, 6 Iron hole in #1," Barrett tweeted.

"It's a second. I'm catching up to my nana. I think she's had three," Barrett said on the Mike Hosking Breakfast
"That's altitude four you. I'd probably hit a good four-iron at home. One great thing about travelling to Johannesburg is you get an extra few yards kicking a rugby ball and you do on the golf course too. It was a great buzz."
The Hurricanes look to book a spot in the final for a third straight year when they clash with the Lions at Ellis Park.
