Chief Executive Officer, David White, said Flavell would be a great addition to Auckland Rugby.
"Troy is a talented and experienced player who will add value to both Auckland and the Blues in the coming seasons," White said.
Auckland wing Tony Koonwaiyou has also re-signed with Auckland for 2006.
White said the pacy winger had enjoyed an excellent NPC season.
"He has grown in stature as a player and we are delighted that he has committed himself to another season with Auckland."
