Crockett has come through the New
Zealand rugby ranks having played at the Under-19 World Cup in 2002 and the Under-21 World Cup two years later as well as running out for the Junior All Blacks in 2006 and 2007.
He made his All Black debut against Italy on his home ground in Christchurch in 2009 before playing them again in his third test on the end of year tour.
