Ted or Beaver? Rugby World Cup hosts

Pick your poison - Ted or Beaver. That's the choice fans looking to follow the World Cup with All Black Tours next year will be offered.

Today marks a year to go before the global rugby extravaganza kicks off and planning is well under way to ensure New Zealand is well represented in the stands as well as the field as the tournament reaches its knockout stages.

All Black Tours is launching two exclusive RWC 2015 Fan-Flight packages, hosted by World Cup-winning coach Graham Henry and unlikely 2011 final hero Stephen Donald.

Henry's group will arrive via a 777-300 in time for the quarter-finals, while Donald's crew will arrive for the semifinals and finals.

"Beaver's turning up late again," Henry said. "He'll come in and do a job for us, just like 2011."

Henry described his role as being part of a big team supporting a little team.

"There's going to be a huge number of English supporters. This is our opportunity to get behind the All Blacks.

"There's a chance to see history here. We want to become the first team to win three World Cups - Australia and South Africa have also won two - and we want this to be the first All Black team to win a World Cup away from home. That's very difficult to do.

"To be able to experience this phenomenal tournament from the supporters side is really going to be something different. I'm excited that Beaver and I can share this experience with a bunch of like-minded New Zealanders who share the same passion for rugby and the All Blacks as we do," Henry said.

All Blacks Tours general manager David Caldwell said the sales of packages to date has been "phenomenal".

"We didn't expect to be this far ahead after six months of sales given Kiwis are traditionally late purchasers," Caldwell said.
