A website has started selling chokers for real in a bid to raise money for charity.
The studded black leather bands, wornaround the neck or wrist, can be bought from allblackchokers.com for $12.50.
The London-based website says it is peddling the accessory "to remind the Kiwis that they are the proverbial chokers".
"Worldwide sales of All Black chokers would be an inescapable reminder of New Zealand's past World Cup performances."
It has been 24 long years since the All Blacks managed to lift the Webb Ellis Cup - in 1987 - despite being favourites each time they take the field.
Meanwhile, a viral advertisement for an adidas All Black choker has re-emerged after their loss to Australia in the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday night.
The mock commercial cropped up during the last Rugby World Cup in 2007, when the All Blacks were knocked out of the tournament by France in the quarter-finals.
After the 18-20 loss in 2007, the fake choker advertisement was posted to a South African rugby website where one person joked: "Why are teabags better than the All Blacks? 'Cause they stay in the cup longer!"
