Rugby World Cup: Sonny Bill Williams gives away cap and sunglasses

Sonny Bill Williams' reputation as the most generous All Black was confirmed today as he gave away his cap and sunglasses to two lucky fans.

As eager fans surrounded Williams in Wellington's Civic Square, one teen asked if he could have his All Black cap.

Williams not only gave him his cap, but he also took off his sunglasses and gave them to the teen.

Rongotai College student Tyrrell Samia, 17, was the lucky boy.

However, another eager young fan, 10-year-old Taimakau Pikia-Karehana, asked if he could have the sunglasses and Tyrrell kindly gave them to him.

"I did what Sonny would do and gave the sunnies away," he said.

Taimakau is now the proud owner of a pair of Adidas sunglasses worn by Williams.
"I'm so happy," he said.

He was a huge All Blacks fan and said his room was "decked out" in All Blacks gear including a duvet cover and bean bag.

Taimakau brought his rugby ball along and got autographs from about 10 players including Williams, Julian Savea and Dan Carter.
