Rugby World Cup history has been made, with the northern hemisphere teams already history. For the first time, it will be an all-southern hemisphere affair in the semifinals with the All Blacks playing the Springboks, and Wallabies facing the Pumas.

South Africa has 2 - 1 World Cup record over New Zealand but those games were so long ago they are hardly relevant. Since the last World Cup, they have met seven times with New Zealand winning six. The last three matches have involved very close scorelines.

Argentina has had five victories in 24 matches against the Wallabies. Since the 2011 World Cup, Australia holds a 6 - 1 advantage with their two most impressive victories occurring in Argentina.
