Rugby World Cup final: Did David Pocock stomp on Richie McCaw?

He's been labelled the nicest man in rugby, but David Pocock has been caught on camera seemingly stomping on Richie McCaw.

In the 25th minute, the duo were involved in a ruck and got tangled up, with McCaw clinging onto Pocock's leg.

In attempt to free himself, Pocock appears to make purposeful contact with McCaw's head.

Debate has begun over whether the contact is a deliberate stomp, or merely Pocock attempting to free his leg from McCaw's grasp.

McCaw gestured to the linesman but the incident went unnoticed.

Regardless of intent, the moment didn't take on importance in the clash, in which the All Blacks were a class above to deservedly win 34-17.
