Ma'a Nonu has taken to the field for his 100th test this morning, decked out in a custom pair of boots made especially for the historic occasion.
The one-off black and gunmetal coloured boot was created as part of a collaboration between Adidas and Nonu and will be worn onlyduring the star second five-eighth's milestone match against Tonga.
Nonu is the sixth All Black to reach the 100-test milestone, joining Richie McCaw, Mils Muliaina, Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock and Dan Carter in the elusive club.
Nonu's special CrazyQuick Malice boots feature animal prints, including a shark, panda bear, lion, dinosaurs and other animals - which symbolise his family members.
"It's a privilege to reach 100 tests for the All Blacks, and being able to wear the custom CrazyQuick boots will add extra significance to the occasion," he said.
"Family is hugely important to me, so being able to include representations of my family into the design is a nice way of having all my whanau with me for this important match."
Unfortunately for fans, the unique boots will not be available for sale to the general public, with only 20 pairs created.
