Cantabrians are being encouraged to turn out in big numbers to farewell the All Blacks today.
A send-off is being held for the entire ABs squad in Victoria Square, Christchurch, at lunchtime.
Organised by the Christchurch City Council as part of the 'Paint it All Black' campaign, it is the last chance for Cantabrians to give the team their best wishes before they head off to France for the World Cup.
Council marketing advisor for community services Chris Wallace says there will be speeches by Richie McCaw and Graham Henry.
He says there will also be presentations to rugby clubs which have been involved in the promotion, musical entertainment and an opportunity to get some autographs.
