Injured Williams in doubt for World Cup

All Black lock Ali Williams is in doubt for the World Cup in Australia because of a foot injury, says Sky Television.

The seriousness of the injury is unclear and it is not known when it occurred or whether it will prevent him taking his place at the World Cup, starting in Sydney on October 10.

All Black coach John Mitchell would not comment, saying only that Williams, 22, was to assemble with the All Blacks tomorrow.
