Henry denies World Cup resignation report

All Blacks coach Graham Henry has denied he has made a decision to step down after next year's rugby World Cup in France.

French newspaper Midi Olympique had reported that after 32 years of coaching at the top level Henry would move aside.

It said Henry had said his assistant Steve Hansen was being groomed to take over from him, and that his other assistant Wayne Smith was happy to carry on in a supporting role.

But Henry today denied the newspaper report and it is believed he has yet to decide on what he'll do beyond the World Cup.

Henry's contract with the New Zealand Rugby Union expires at the end of next year.
