Eden Park's revamp far from finalised

The head of Auckland's Eden Park says they are a long way off a final design for the ground's redevelopment.

Some designs have been made public, with one such improvement being a massive new Eastern and Southern stand, primarily for the 2011 World Cup.

However, Eden Park CEO John Alexander insisted there's plenty of water to go under the bridge yet.

Alexander said they definitely do not have a final design. They are working with many groups in getting ideas together.

John Alexander said they will be holding public meetings soon to gain more feedback, with the aim of having final designs heading to resource consent by April.
