All Blacks number eight Kieran Read is officially available for selection to play Canada in their final Rugby World Cup 2011 pool match.
Read comes back into contention after a month off due to an ankle injury sustained against Australia in Brisbane.
He says Adam Thomson's injury, suffered at the
same time, actually provided him with a little motivation.
Read says it gave him a little hope as he wasn't in as much pain as Thomson at the time.
Read says he's maintained a positive attitude right throughout his rehab and never doubted he was going to play in the Rugby World Cup.
