Rugby: Umaga poised for return

Tana Umaga is poised to make his return to New Zealand rugby.

It is understood the former All Black captain is close to signing a deal with Counties Manukau to take over as assistant coach for this year's provincial competition.

Umaga's contract with French club Toulon is up in May, and he is keen to bring his family back home. His manager Glenda Hughes says they are not in a position to confirm anything today.
