It's not often three teammates dot the ball down at the same time to score a try, but that is exactly what happened at the U20 World Championship in Georgia early on Friday morning (NZT).
In their final pool match of rugby's global showpiece for the next generation of talent, an impressive South African side dominated a lacklustre Argentine outfit in Tbilisi to book a semi-final berth against England on Wednesday morning (NZT).
With the win already in the bag, the Baby Boks continued to apply pressure on the South Americans via a Curwin Bosch line break in the 57th minute.
The 19-year-old Sharks playmaker threw an inside pass to halfback Embrose Papier, who cantered away under the posts to extend the South African's lead by another five points.
However, Papier decided to wait for Bosch and fullback Manie Libbok, both of whom had remained in support of their teammate on his way to the tryline, despite the certainty of him scoring South Africa's eighth try of the match.
In an act described by World Rugby's social media accounts as "the definition of teamwork", the halfback rewarded Bosch and Libbok for their support play by allowing them to place their hands on the ball and force it on the Avchala Stadium turf simultaneously, resulting in a rare and bizarre three-way try.
The try was accredited to Papier, and South Africa eventually went on to put 11 tries past the Argentinians to claim a 72-14 victory, placing them top of Pool C.
