Ex-rugby league star Sonny Bill Williams had another full training session with Canterbury this morning, ahead of their first ITM Cup match this week.

His first hit-out at training with the squad was under lights on Monday night.

Williams played rugby for French club Toulon for two years, until signing with the NZRU last month.

Canterbury open their 2010 campaign with a match against Hawke's Bay at AMI Stadium on Friday night.
