A 31-man rugby sevens squad has been confirmed for a four day national camp at Mt Maunganui, starting Friday.
National coach Gordon Tietjens named the squad after the national tournament in Queenstown over the weekend.
Regulars Amasio Valence, Justin Wilson and Tafai Ioasa have been included, along with a batch of new names.
Six players from the champion Auckland team have been confirmed.
Auckland remains the national champion after successfully defending its title in Queenstown.
The 43-12 win over Wellington in the final was without coach Eric Rush, who is recovering from a blood clot.
Bay of Plenty won the Plate final 31-12 over Hawke's Bay, Southland the Bowl 26-14 over Manawatu, and Canterbury the Shield, winning 33-31 over West Coast.
